The Brazilian Raoni Monteiro, 28, has become the first South American to win the O'Neill World Cup of Surfing at 20 years, since he already did Fabio Gouveia in 1991. His victory at Sunset has provided him glory and a prize of $ 20,000.
The third and last stop of the Vans Triple Crown of Surfing and the WCT 2010 is the Billabong Pipeline Masters, which takes place from 8 to 20 December.
